Toy Review and Video: smART Sketcher Projector - Teach Your Kiddos To Draw with Ease!

We were sent the smART Projector to review, and we could not be more impressed. To start this off, my son is four years old. The extent of his drawing right now consists of circles with eyes and legs.; with the smART Projector, he drew seamlessly. He even said it, thoughtfully over dinner, that the projector helped him draw, because he never could draw before! Not only will this projector help your kiddo draw, but your kiddo can learn how to trace letters, as well as teach proper hand and eye coordination.

At a retail price of $59.99, the price tag is steep, I know, but what you gain overall is a priceless experience. Your child will play with this again and again, as mine does. You can even sync the smART Projector up with their app via bluetooth, and you can turn your own family photos into plug-ins for art. Your child can learn to draw a photo of himself, a flower, virtually anything! I was having trouble syncing my smART projector with my phone, but I was able to access the part where you can import your own images. If you have Illustrator or any type of app that turns your images into sketches, this does just that, but it will import it to your projector via bluetooth and then transmit the image through the projector light on to your worksheet.

This machine is amazing, and will turn your little one into an aspiring artist! With 50+ activities to choose from, your kiddo will be on his or her way to creating  detailed prints of their own in minutes!

Assembly is super easy! The projector is tucked inside the machine, simply detach and attach to the top of the machine. You also get mini SD card that looks like a tiny ear, you will have to insert the mini SD inside the top of the projector. Voila! Now you have a dinosaur! No, you have a projector! To add, this machine is EXTREMELY light weight! It can’t be more than a pound or two. And I must note that it does require 4 D Batteries, but this one came with its own AC Adapter, so that really made it easy to set up too! No fiddling with batteries, compartments, and impatient kids, just unbox, set up and move on!

The projector has a slew of buttons that are super easy to interpret and these buttons will guide you through the mini SD card’s capabilities. The mini SD card comes preloaded with How to Draw tutorials featuring cute animals, and after each drawing is complete, a fun animation happens giving your kids a thrill! Load your image, project that image and you can adjust the projection with the light head, draw using the super easy steps, or practice your letters depending on the type of image you project, and display your masterpiece!

You can also download their app that gives you even more capabilities. Import your own images to make your kid’s artwork more personal - they do this by applying a filter to your work through the app, and it will project your image. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! The app is available through Apple, Android, and Amazon! You can pick up this product in store at Barnes and Noble, or purchase it from QVC.com.

The smART Sketcher Projector is seriously SO easy that a four year old can do it, and this projector is geared for ages five and up!

Don’t forget to go to smartsketcher.com for more activities to sketch, create, and learn!

I was sent this product for free for our honest review. The opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Only a few decades ago, having cinema-level films in your household was a laughable idea. Now, it is very easily possible with a relatively little investment. A few thousand dollars could get you... projector price in bd
