New York Toy Fair 2019 LEGO Movie 2 Wave 2 LEGO Builds Late April 2019 Release Rexcelsior, Queen Wat'evra's Palace and more!

It’s LEGO Movie 2 time with four new sets to buy for wave 2! I got a sneak peek of The LEGO 2 Movie Wave 2 LEGO sets at New York Toy Fair in the LEGO Booth! 

Wave 2 of the next LEGO 2 Movie LEGO sets will be coming out late April 2019, early May 2019. There will be four sets to build and add to your collections! For some reason, I only have footage of three of the four sets! The one I am missing is the coolest one, it’s #70842 Emmet’s Triple Dek Couch Mech, it has so much room to hold overpriced cups of coffee, a claw arm, and even coffee mugs controls to drive. A bristle brush tailed Rampage Kitty looks on annoyed as ever. This set is $29.99, and for ages eight and up. This will be available at Target. 

Next is #70838 Queen Watevra’s ‘So-Not-Evil’ Space Palace - this set is so cool! There are so many elements and little details here that I kept coming back to this set over and over. This set is $99.99, and for ages eight and up. This set is massive at 18” tall, and looks like it would be a fun build with all of the open and close pods, balconies, and all of the little food elements…I’m surprised no lobster thermidor for Batman. I love his suit in this set.  

#70837 Shimmer and Shine Sparkle Spa! Is he perfect place to relax and take a brick off. There is a hot tub, buildable massage table, and eight characters from the movie that will be sure to be helpful in recreating scenes from the movie. I love Wyldstyle’s real hair color, and that it’s now in minifig form!! This set is for ages seven and up and will be $69.99.

Finally, The Rexcelsior is a huge build and will be a perfect addition to finalize your LEGO Movie 2 collection. With 1,826 pieces, it is the largest build of the whole LEGO Movie 2 collection. It will be sold for $149.99 and includes Rex and Emmett. I don’t want to give too much away in the movie so I will be quiet. Otherwise, this is Rex’s ship, and it’s cool! The two mini figures includes are  Stubble Trouble Emmet and Rex Dangervest. It also includes micro builds like Emmet’s house, two micro figures, two interaptors, and a dropship. The ship itself is over a foot long has open and close doors with lift-off roofs for an easier play experience, boosters, dual micro figure cockpit, 6-missile spring-loaded shooter, inside a detailed interior with various rooms and compartments, and so much more! It is definitely worth the price tag.
