Black Friday is November 29, 2019, and Christmas is just 40 days away!
Target’s Black Friday ad was released last week, and there are so many great deals from bed and bath to toys and holiday decor, the ad is a bit daunting. Hopefully, you checked out my recent blog post with my helpful Black Friday tips! Thankfully, we also have a very helpful site SlickDeals now celebrating 20 years of money-saving services to savvy shoppers like you! SlickDeals uses a voting system based on all of the products all over the internet that gets the public’s opinion on what is hot and what is not. Check daily for the latest savings and compare against the Black Friday ads. Check out the Target ad before heading to the store, and make a list of your must-haves gift items. Don’t forget to get a little something for yourself, too; holiday shopping is hard work!
Lots of Ways to Save
There are so many ways to save money on the hottest items for Black Friday. Keep in mind that RedCard holders will get additional shopping time online before the sale officially starts, so now is the time to sign up! You can also get a RedCard Debit Card to help control your spending and still enjoy the 5% off benefit. Garner additional savings with Target’s rewards program, Target Circle, which replaces Cartwheel but is still a spherical shape, so we’re not too sad to see it go. Pairing these savings benefits along with their Black Friday 2019 deals are a great help on the wallet. Don’t forget to save your 20% off coupon that you will earn with your Black Friday purchase that can be used for a future purchase from December 3 to 14th.
Stacking the deals and SlickDeals’ helpful list of the best items to buy at Target as per real consumers’ votes is even more helpful. I like using SlickDeals, because as a product reviewer I like to see what other consumers have to say about the products. A shopper's first experience with a product is its price. SlickDeals informative readers already predicted the popularity of Spin Master’s Kinetic Sand, the new Sandisfying Set is already sold out in-store and online and was ranging from $9 to $15 each set. SlickDeals also gives their readers a lot of help within the video games category as a majority of the games for all major consoles are just $15 each. Target doesn’t itemize this list, but SlickDeals created their own list here, which is extremely helpful. Purchase major game favorites like Kingdom Hearts 3, Sonic Racing, and Overwatch Legendary Edition for PS4 for just $5 each. See their site to get the full list. As an experienced Black Friday Target shopper, I strongly suggest that if you are going there specifically for gaming, you’ve got to take your Thanksgiving dessert to go, and line up early.
Target’s Black Friday sales are very easy to shop - you can shop early with your RedCard online and enjoy free shipping, too, or you can go straight to the store and be engulfed in all of Black Friday shopping glory.
It's a madhouse to shop in-store, but that is what makes the whole art of Black Friday shopping in-store so much fun. You can also enjoy savings in your jammies while eating leftovers by shopping the Target Black Friday sale online. Again, if you have a RedCard, you can enjoy the savings way ahead of non-RedCard holders, plus get an additional 5% off. Typically you can purchase a majority of the items online, but doorbusters, which are usually the products to get people in the store, ie, busting through said door, are only available for a few hours the day of Thanksgiving.
Best Target Doorbusters!
Top products are usually categorized as Doorbusters this year are a giant Olaf plush by Just Play for just $25, and Hasbro’s new Baby Alive Super Snack Baby for under $20. For gaming, PS4 and Xbox One Gaming Controllers are just $39.99 each for a whopping $20 savings. Doorbusters may also come with great incentives like gift cards for purchasing a particular item. For instance, the Gears of War Xbox One bundle is $349.99, and you get a $40 Target Gift Card with your purchase. The kicker is that the gift card has to be used on your next purchase, but if you’re buying your products in the Electronics section, then you can hold on to your gift card for purchasing other products found in other parts of the store with a separate purchase. Another great doorbuster is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 camera for $49.99, which comes with a $15 Target Gift Card with your purchase, plus the camera is also available in an exclusive color.
Don’t forget to deck the halls too as holiday decor is heavily discounted. Get the Christmas tree for just $30, and decorate said tree for under $20 with $2 Christmas lights, and $10 ornament balls.
