Let's review the complete collection of the wave one Power Players figures made by Playmates Toys. Each figure comes with full articulation and includes accessories that support open-ended play, and just make toy collecting fun! Power Players is such a fun show as it is totally action-packed, it has a very interesting storyline that grabs kids in, and it's about toys - totally my cup of tea! Not only are there basic figures in the wave one assortment, but there are also deluxe figures and playsets like Axel's cycle vehicle. Fans can buy the wave one assortment figures now at Target, Walmart, and on Amazon! You can support your local comic book shop to build your collection as well by shopping online and visiting in-store (once we're allowed to go out of course)! The Power Players line is geared towards kids ages four and up.
Overall, I think the figures beautifully made. There are multiple points of articulation making them very easy to pose for cool setups and recreating key scenes from the show. The accessories enhance playtime and gives more depth to each figure. The paintwork is spot on, and Playmates Toys truly captured each Power Players' characters personality. Check out Sarge's finely detailed scar over his right eye. The price for each figure is a great deal at only $9.99, I feel you get a big bang for your buck!

Axel transforms into a toy superhero and joins the toy superhero team, Power Players. The toys were invented by his Uncle who has a secret, and each episode Axel and his crew have to fight Madcap and his cronies and unearth a different piece to the puzzling story of his Uncle and the Power Players. My almost seven-year-old son loves this show! Power Players in on Cartoon Network, and they have a YouTube channel to see what it's all about! This show is all about the power of play and the power of imagination!

Fans of Power Players will be able to gear up and recreate scenes from the hit show on Cartoon Network. Power Players introduces viewers into the world of Axel, a nine-year-old boy who uncovers a world of superheroes with different powers! For wave one there are six figures including Axel, Sarge, Bearbarian, Galileo, Sarge, Masko, and villain Madcap. Axel uses power bands to unlock a mysterious box full of toys with all different personalities. Each figure by Playmates truly encompasses the superpowers of each character.
