Nickelodeon sent me some fun goodies and a very comfy t-shirt from the TMNT x Lily Stock Collection! As an OG fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I was so excited for this package!
Lily Stock, winner of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Global Design Competition, captured each turtle by drawing them in poses that reflect their different personalities. Each turtle’s colored bandana also reflects their overall aesthetic.
Breaking down the design was fun, and I viewed her work as an amazing piece of art.
Let’s breakdown the beauty of this image! Leonardo the leader of the pack is all business wielding his iconic katanas. Raphael in the front with a red flame like pair of shorts embodying his hot-headed personality. Michelangelo looks like he’s ready to go surfing and is almost child-like in stature. Donatello’s somber look lends to his thoughtful and peaceful persona. Shredder at the top of the image looks as if he just can’t keep up with the turtles. In the center of it all, Splinter, their adoptive father and teacher always reminding the turtles the ways of the ninjutsu.
You can get this beautiful image on a shirt, tank top, hoodie, tote bag, phone case, and even a pop socket! The shirt is well made and fits so nicely, and is definitely worth the money. The pop socket is great quality as well, and it totally useful and shows off my fandom in an artsy way. The tote bag is well made and is the perfect size to hold your lunch, books, ipad, and more. All of these products are totally tubular and elevated even more with Lily’s amazing art!
Congratulations Lily Stock! Her artwork was chosen amongst a collection of artists all ages 16-25.
TMNT X LILY STOCK Collection items are available NOW on Amazon in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, and France!
Thank you so much Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Nickelodeon for sending over this package and sharing Lily Stock's beautiful interpretation of these reptilian icons.
